Alain Truche, Organ First Presbyterian Church of Saginaw, 121 S Harrison St, Saginaw Directions Central Michigan University alumnus Alain Truche will perform works by Bach, Saint-Saёns, Widor, Dupré, and others. |

Dr. Alain Truche currently serves as the Director of Music at Grace Episcopal Church in Alexandria, VA. He has held various church positions in Silver Spring, MD; Winston-Salem, NC; Taipei, Taiwan; Scranton, PA; and Omaha, NE. While in Scranton, he also served as the dean of the Northeast Pennsylvania chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Dr. Truche earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Central Michigan University, a Master of Music degree from Indiana University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. His journey as a musician has been shaped by the guidance of esteemed mentors including Dr. Steven Egler, Dr. Marilyn Keiser, and Dr. George Ritchie. Beyond his dedication to church music ministry, Dr. Truche is recognized as an accomplished recitalist. He has performed across Asia, Europe, and the United States, including the prestigious Église Saint-Paul, Strasbourg, and the Abbaye in Marmoutier, France, where he showcased his talent on the illustrious 18th-century Silbermann organ in 2017 and 2023 for their annual Music Festival. Notably, Dr. Truche has been a featured artist at the Northeast Pennsylvania Bach Festival hosted by the Arcadia Chorale. He was also invited to perform at Aletheia University and the National Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Truche was a finalist at the Arthur Poister Organ competition held in Syracuse, New York, in 2007.

HANDEL’S MESSIAH: A SING-A-LONG First Presbyterian Church of Saginaw, 121 S Harrison St, Saginaw Directions The choirs of First Presbyterian Saginaw and Assumption Parish Midland will join forces to lead a sing-a-long performance of selections from the Christmas portion of George Frideric Handel’s Messiah, plus the Hallelujah Chorus.
