Sara Glynn-Dishaw holds a Bachelor of Music Education from CMU (‘99) and a Master of Arts in Teaching from SVSU (‘02) with an elementary education endorsement. She has taught for over 20 years in public school settings - music and other content areas - and has also taught private piano lessons. She is currently the music director at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Freeland, MI where she plays organ and piano for all worship services and also works to build programming to increase congregational involvement in all things musical. She also works as a freelance pianist, as a school choral accompanist, and accompanies students for Solo & Ensemble events. She sings soprano in the Perceptions Harmony Diversity Choir, of which she is a charter member. She also enjoys jam sessions with her friends from the Midland Folk Music Society while she plays the ukulele.
